Nice to meet you, I am Carine, a visual artist from Yerevan, Armenia. I do illustration, digital collage, animation, sculpture, writing, and occasional curating. My work is focused on fun aspects of human vulnerability, shared miseries and fears, and celebrates absurdity as a beauty category.I use air clay, found objects and fragile materials containing traces of time, scraps of paper and fabric, print media, mirrors, and broken glass. I do a lot of research, media archaeology, and work with my archive of videos and images, collected through years of compulsive documentation of everyday life.
